Description
Defensive Pistol 2 is an intermediate-level defensive shooting course designed to push students beyond fundamental skills and introduce realistic pressure-based training. The ability to perform defensive actions under stress is critical, and this class incorporates structured drills that help build confidence and competence in these scenarios.
The course will reinforce the core defensive principles taught in Defensive Pistol 1, including grip, stance, holster draw, reloading, and movement, while adding one-handed shooting, alternate shooting positions, and rapid threat assessment. The introduction of simulated stress elements will help students improve their decision-making, shot placement, and ability to function in a defensive encounter.
By the end of this course, students will have a greater level of proficiency and adaptability, capable of handling their pistol more effectively in dynamic environments. This course is designed to bridge the gap between fundamental defensive shooting and more advanced real-world applications.
